ELD programs vary widely in level, size, and complexity. Building an effective program—and the systems needed to sustain it—is demanding work, yet essential if we want students to thrive. Doing it well requires experience, deep knowledge of the program’s many components, and a genuine passion for supporting multilingual learners.
